If you want excellent Mexican food and are in the Temecula area, I HIGHLY recommend Rosa's Tortilla Factory. There are two Rosa's in the area, it's the one that is outside of Old Towne Temecula. The make their fresh tortilla's constantly, all day long since they have a steady stream of customers at this location. My favorite are the bean and cheese burrito's with the fresh salsa. The ONLY complaint I have about Rosa's is that they don't have a full bar. You can get beer and machine made margarita's. But what they don't have in drink, they make up in the fabulous food. I'm making myself hungry for Rosa's Tortilla Factory right now. AND the prices at Rosa's are VERY reasonable!! Check out the link and then... COMMENT HERE

Here is the pricing for admission and hours:

I want to give men some advice, because I love men and I'm hoping they are reading my blog as well as women. The biggest pet peeve I have with men is their shoes. I must seem like some kind of shoe nut, but I want to beg men NOT to wear mandals with socks, ANY socks. If you have to wear these things, please don't wear socks. If they hurt your feet when you don't wear socks, then wear sneakers or some other type of shoes. They look ridiculous and to be honest, I would rather not see men's feet at all. I don't know if there are other people out there that feel this way, but men don't get pedicures, and they don't pay enough attention to any detail that is required to have their feet exposed. If you wear a mandal, take care of your feet and DON'T wear socks! Above is a site you can buy some decent shoes. There ARE mandals on the site, but for pete sakes DON'T wear socks with them. follow the link and use it. COMMENT HERE

Usually I only drink Wine (lately only Pinot Grigio). But when I go someplace tropical I love to order a Malibu Bay Breeze. This is a very refreshing drink and I wanted to share the recipe with you in case you're ever in search of a new drink to get out or make at home. It is really good. COMMENT HERE

Be sure to add a nice garnish like a slice orange, pineapple or a cherry

My friend Kim (that I've known since I was 14 years old) is a very talented ceramics artist. I just love when one of my friends has a passion for something and Kim definitely has a passion for ceramics. The picture shown is something she gave me years ago, which I cherish. Since starting this blog I've been trying to think of different ideas to blog about. While walking past the piece she gave me, I thought wow there is something right there. I also found Kim's website, so be sure to click on the photo to hop over to her site and see the rest of her beautiful art work. Great work Kim. COMMENT HERE

I write about Grazie shoes, flip flops and boots so much that I decided to create an online store for all of us who love these products and a few extra fun products too. On the site there are tabs for Grazies, accessories, jeans & pants, tops & sweaters, darling dresses and electronics. I have to say, I really want everything on the site and I do plan on buying some new Grazie's soon, even though I have quite a few already, as you can see from the video below.

Palm Springs is one of my favorite get-aways in Southern California. The weather can get a bit hot, but there is so much to do that it makes up for sweating. I was just there the past few days with my family and we had a great time. Here are a few of the highlights in Palm Springs that you should visit when you want to get away and have some fun. The Spa Resort Casino. We stayed at the Spa because it is located in a great area. You can park your car and never drive for the whole weekend. The rooms are clean and the pool area is top notch. There is also a nice SPA that offers massages, facials, skin & hair treatments, all for a reasonable price. I love that they have a casino right there as well. Dinner, dancing and the casino? You can't go wrong! We had dinner the first night at The Falls. The food is delicious and the service was very attentive. Try one of the martini's. They put dry ice to make it all smoky & bubbly. So much fun! The second night we ate at Las Casuelas. We didn't realize that Thursday nights they have a street fair, so we had to wait a while for our table. But the food was very good. I have a long time friend that plays in the band there. They play a wide variety of tunes. There is always someone dancing and fun going on by the band. I have to mention Sherman's Deli. We had breakfast there both mornings. They have a huge menu, so there will definitely be something on it for everyone. The shopping in Palms Springs is fun since the clothing there is different. Boutiques are all the way down the boulevard. Be sure to visit before the temperature goes up in the low desert. Let me know what you like about Palm Springs... COMMENT HERE

My family and I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago and wanted to share it with everyone. It is right on the bay in Oceanside, so it's a great location. The food and service were very good. They have entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well as Happy hour on the patio. Sunday brunch is 9:30 to 2:30 served with Champagne. I'm planning on going back soon to celebrate a birthday! If you are in Oceanside, you should check out this great restaurant. And be sure to go watch the Sea Lions on the docks. They are great entertainment. Click the photo for the website and menu options. Comment here

I know, I know... I spend WAY too much time at Pala Casino. Living 15 minutes from it makes it very hard to stay away! They have live music 24/7, great restaurants, the slots are a little tight, but still fun. They have a Mexican restaurant at Pala that I really like called Amigos! The chips and salsa are so good, I could eat that and nothing else. The salsa bar is very nice. You can get super hot to mild salsa and every heat in between. I usually get the bean or chicken tostada. This place is very resonably priced and probably the best Mexican food I've had in a while. I would highly recommend it. Once you check it out, write a comment and let others know what you think! Click the Amigos bannar above for the menu.... Comment here

If you love your dog and want him/her well taken care of while you are away from home, Dogtopia has it all. We leave our precious little Cali there and she is very particular about everything (I call her the nervous poodle at times). We left her at Dogtopia for an overnight stay and she did great. The people there are super nice, it's a clean, safe environment and you can check on your pup via Doggie Cam! It was nice being able to view what Cali was doing during the time we were gone. We plan on using Dogtopia again and again. They have many locations throughout the United States. So give this place a look next time you're going out of town. COMMENT HERE

We have a saltwater pool & spa where I live now and I love it. I feel healthier swimming in saltwater, rather than chlorine. I like that it doesn't burn my eyes, my skin & hair doesn't get all dried out and my swimsuits don't fade like they have in chlorine. Most important, it doesn't fade my tan!

Here are some reasons to think about changing from chlorine to salt.

1. It's more comfortable. Salt softens pool water so it's gentler and less likely to cause red, burning eyes or dry, itchy skin.

2. It's easier on swimwear. Fabric swimwear won't fade or disintegrate over time.

3. It smells better. Lower chlorine levels eliminate chlorine taste and smell. The water tastes slightly salty instead.

4. It inhibits algae naturally.

5. It's safer around kids and pets. Saltwater pools reduce the need to purchase, store, add, and handle chlorine, but salt can be corrosive over time.

6. It saves time. Saltwater systems are easy to maintain once the system is learned.

7. It's cost-effective. Saltwater systems are more expensive initially but less costly over time

There is something I really dislike about summer. Yes that's right, there IS something I don't like about summer. ANTS! These little pains in my neck have got me a little worked up today. I woke up this morning and my poor cat was standing by her food bowl with the most pathetic face ever! I looked and there were millions of ants all over her food. There were ants on the bathroom floor, counter, bathtub, in my kitchen and on my desk. They were crawling in my hair, I looked in my laundry and they were in there TOO!

I found a link about these Argentine ants. If you click the picture of the ant you will get linked up. It had some very interesting information about how to get rid of them. I need more ANT BAIT!!! COMMENT HERE

Public Accountants with heart ♥. I worked with Sutor, Krystad & Rosenfeld for 13+ years, so I know quite a lot about the company. They are brilliant accountants for one thing. The people behind this company is what makes it one of the best accounting firms in Pasadena, CA.

Eric, Ray, Choi, Reena & Christina are the heart of the company they really care about their jobs and clients. The firm was founded in 1981, and I started working in the Pasadena office in early 1995. Eric Krystad was my boss and always treated me with kindness and was a friend (which is hard to come by in the working world). It was a great place to work and if I hadn't moved to Fallbrook, I'd probably still be there :-) My family still does business with the firm, which makes me very happy. Props to a great public accounting firm. COMMENT HERE

Sutor, Krystad & Rosenfeld -------> (800)-959-5671

Since living in Fallbrook, I've found it hard to find cute clothing stores. I have to drive quite a distance to get to... well anything or anywhere. I came across this store one day and was like OMG this is a store for me! You can purchase dresses for about $20.00, they have cute tops, jeans and even shoes (at the back of the store). They even have plus size clothes, so they cover just about everyone. I was surprised to hear that not many people around here knew of it. So I thought I'd put it on my blog in case someone is looking for a place like this. They don't have a website so here is the address & phone number so you can find it Blu Echo - 815 College Blvd., Ste 102 Oceanside, CA (760) 630-1836
