This morning we have started with the percussion workshop "Rhythms of Resistance" with our friend Sławomir who has come to support us from Poland. It has been a success and we have been talking about the possibility of preparing more workshops more often (info: http://dry.hispanosenlondres.com/discussion/289/propuesta-de-crear-un-grupo-de-percusion-mas-estable )

After cleaning up we have had an assembly in which several points have been debated. One has been our possible participation in the demonstration called at European level and that here in London had called us to take Trafalgar Sq. After a short debate, our collaboration and support was agreed. We also talked about next weekend's activities, which will be explained throughout the week in the forum, for example in this thread http://www.hispanosenlondres.com/discussion/290/asamblea-proximo-sabado-4-si-no-puedes-venir-habla-aqui

On Thursday 2nd June these activities will be debated in an extraordinary assembly.

Everything tidied up in front of the embassy, we were off to Trafalgar Sq around 5.30pm. We crossed through Green Park chanting. Once in Trafalgar Sq we joined other groups from other countries (Greece, UK...) to protest jointly for a real democracy in  Europe. Afterwards, we did one of our characteristic assemblies to which the whole square was invited. A truly inspirational moment!

- Mark Barret, from People's Assemblies Network, has suggested that we move the campsite to Victoria Tower Gardens, next to the Parliament to get more attention towards the movement, to give it a more international dimension and to attract activists of other nationalities.

- It has been decided to do a monothematic assembly on Saturday 4th May at 5pm to debate the character/identity/objectives of our London's assembly in depth and to be able to take a decision with respect to Mark's suggestion and, in general, to discuss about our collaboration with other movements/groups.

Agreement about tomorrow's schedule, Sunday 29th May:

        *12pm - 1.30pm: Precussion workshop "Rhythms of Resistance" with Sławomir; NECESSARY AND IMPORTANT to all of you who want to participate: bring buckets, cans, barrels, bowls, boxes, bottles and anything else that can be used as a percussion instrument AND drumsticks, wooden spoons, sticks, etc., both for yourselves and for all those who cannot bring anything. Let's be a cheerful and noisy group!

        *1.30pm - 2pm: Cleaning of the campsite

        *2pm - 4pm: Assembly

        *4pm - 5.30pm: Debate workshop with guests from several groups who work for the social justice in UK, Italy, Greece and other countries.

        *6pm - 9pm: Concentration in Trafalgar Sq. 'European Revolution' (this activity will be voted previously in the assembly since we haven't reached a consensus yet about if it's a good idea to participate or not)

Topics to deal with in the assembly of 29th May:

- Internal coordination and organisation of assemblies and working groups.

- Participation in the event 'A Taste of Spain' (Sunday 5th May in Regent's Street).

- Participation in the calling 'European Revolution' protest (Sunday 29th at 6pm in Trafalgar Sq.)

- Execution of activity CONDRY, taking place next Saturday from 9am to 12pm in the Spanish Consulate. The final details of this activity will be arranged throughout the week but maximun collaboration is needed to create a human chain from the Spanish Consulate to the Spanish Embassy.

- Execution of any action on Thursday 2nd June connected with a seminar about the Spanish  exiled people after the civil war that will take place in the embassy at 6.30pm

Today we have tried to raise our voice in solidarity with the Barcelona campers (@acampadabcn), who suffered this morning a violent attack by the Mossos d'Esquadra police force, during a live connection for the night snews of TVE from Hyde Park. The movement also condemns the corruption of the  politicians, the two-party system 'ad-hoc' and the economic system which has drove us to this precarius situation.
