So, how did this intimate apparel guide come to be?? How Love-of-Lingerie Was Born... It all started with a magical evening and the presentation of a beautiful gift box from a loved one. The glamorous, gold box was held together with a big floppy red satin bow that looked like it was straight out of a 1940's Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers film. I pulled back the wafer thin tissue and hidden underneath was a light as gossamer, creamy Chantilly lace and silk nightgown that seemed to float on air...in a nanosecond I was hooked. In the blink of an eye I was smitten.... Before that fateful evening, I had always enjoyed fine lingerie to a certain extent. Luxurious silk sleepwear and exotic lingerie were only for special occasions like birthdays, holidays and anniversaries. Plain and practical had always been my tried and true motto when it came to any kind of brassieres, panties, ladies sleepwear, and intimate apparel. But, this nightgown was out of this world, and it was actually the deciding factor in my becoming a womens lingerie designer. Much like Julia Child who became a world renown foodie and went on to write her labor of love, Mastering The Art of French Cooking

As a woman, I know how frustrating it is finding reliable lingerie information that goes beyond short descriptions from the manufacturer. I often wished that I had someone to offer me guidance shopping for intimate apparel. How to choose the best bras for my shape and silhouette... Understanding the different types of bras, and which brassieres are which - for example, what is the difference between demi bras and push up bras, or full bras and plus size bras? When is it time to go for a bra fitting, and where to go bra shopping? And, when it comes to womens sleepwear, which styles are more comfortable, night gowns or pajamas? Is cotton sleepwear or flannel sleepwear better? And, do luxury robes really make the best gifts? The list goes on and on... Over time many family members, friends, and acquaintances have come to me looking for answers to their intimate apparel questions and solutions to their problems. And, I've happily helped them.
