Reaching out to our target mom, we asked them to tell us how they use the product…do they dip or do they dress? By liking the page and taking the poll, users are entered into a contest for a chance to win a family vacation to the Calgary Stampede. Schick Hydro Canada took a step into the land of social media in 2011 launching a new Facebook page. The page will be home to product info, contest and promotions, and everyone’s favourite Hydro Intern – Cam! The page launched with a massive program – the 14 Day Challenge – which is supported through various media channels and in-store. One month in we launched the Hydro Face contest to get our cool guys to engage even further with the brand. The page included a consumer promotion with photo upload and daily voting, registration for an exclusive CRM program and frequent wall posts and consumer engagement. Schick Hydro launched an engaging contest in 2010 featuring giveaways from their newly launched line of men’s shave products. Unique PIN codes were available on specially marked packages. Consumers were to visit the Hydro Pin Up Poker site to enter their PIN to find out if they were in fact an instant winner! A mock poker game would show the user if they had won and what their prize was. Proud partner of Movember, the Schick “Mo Pic” gave guys and gals everywhere an easy way to show their support and spread the word! The Mo Pic took a Polaroid style image (using their a webcam or an uploaded image of the user) and gave users the ability to add a ‘mo of their choice. From “The Trucker” to the “Businessman” - there was a ‘mo for everyone!
